You wake up in the soft stillness of the valley, the kind of quiet you forgot existed. The air is cool, green, alive. Your knees don’t feel quite as swollen. Your hands aren’t as stiff. The usual heaviness in your body has started to lift. For once, you’re not waking up replaying what you ate last night or promising yourself, “Today I’ll be good.” You’re in a sunlit room in Panama, in a place you actually said yes to. You open the door and the jungle answers — birds calling, leaves moving, volcano walls wrapping the whole scene like a sanctuary. For the first time in a long time, your body doesn’t feel like the enemy. It feels like a wounded friend that finally has a chance to heal.
You walk to breakfast and the table is already set — rich broth, eggs, local meats, butter, simple whole foods that calm your system instead of inflaming it. No one is quietly tracking your portions. No one is pushing bread or dessert at you. Nobody’s telling you to “just have balance” while you battle cravings. The women around you are like you — smart, capable, exhausted from chronic pain, extra weight, bloating, labs that keep getting worse, and a brain that won’t shut up about food. There’s relief in the room. You don’t have to explain why you feel out of control around carbs and sugar. Everyone already knows.
Later, you’re in circle. It’s intimate — 12, maybe 15 women — and the air is thick with honesty. You speak your real story out loud: the diets that worked until they didn’t, the doctors who told you to “just lose weight,” the nights you binged in front of the TV, the shame of not recognizing your own body in photos. You talk about the pain, the fatigue, the brain fog. Instead of being met with fixes or judgment, you’re met with nods. Tears. “Me too.” Something unclenches in your chest. This is what it feels like to be understood.
In the afternoon, you hike to a waterfall. At first you’re nervous — hills usually mean pain and embarrassment. But step by step, your body surprises you. Supported, nourished, not fighting a constant sugar crash, it actually carries you. The water is cold and wild. You laugh in a way you haven’t in months. For a moment you’re not calculating calories, worrying about your size, or bracing for the next flare-up. Your nervous system starts to believe a new story: maybe your body isn’t your prison. Maybe it can be your ally again.
That night, in ceremony, you sit in candlelight, guided into your own subconscious. You see the moments you decided food was your comfort, your reward, your escape. You see the belief that you’re “just big,” “just undisciplined,” “just broken.” You feel your angels, your God, your higher self — whatever name you use — show you a different possibility: that your cravings have been signals, not personal failures. That your body has been crying for safety, not punishment. And in that sacred little room in the jungle, you make a new agreement with yourself and your body.
This is your healing retreat. Not a crash diet. Not a bootcamp. Not another weight-loss scheme you’ll “fail.” It’s a metabolic reset, a pain-soothing pause, a sacred interruption of the binge-shame-start-over cycle. A remembering. A return. A holy pause to heal your body, quiet the cravings, and begin to truly Return to Radiance.

Inflamed, heavy, and hating the mirror? → Feel lighter in your body & clearer in your skin.
Low-inflammation, ancestral meals + gentle daily movement = less joint pain, less bloating, calmer skin, deeper sleep. Your face de-puffs, your body feels looser, clothes start to fit differently, and people notice you look… better.
Trapped in shame about your weight & health? → End the self-attack loop.
Compassionate coaching, sister-circle reflection, and nightly release practices (somatic unwinding + short forgiveness journaling) loosen the grip of “I’m disgusting / I’ve ruined my body.” You start relating to your body as a partner in healing, not a problem to fix.
Constant mental chatter about food, carbs, and “being good”? → Quiet the obsessive food noise.
Short, repeatable practices (10-minute breathwork, guided meditation, barefoot nature time) paired with deeply satisfying protein-rich meals calm the “What can I eat? What did I do wrong?” loop. Your brain feels clearer. You can focus on life, not your next sugar hit.
Carbs and sugar calling all the shots? → You’re back in charge of your plate.
A cravings-control protocol, realistic meal templates, and a 90-day home plan you’ll actually use give you structure without obsession. Hunger feels sane, binges lose their grip, the scale starts moving in the right direction—because your metabolism and your mind are finally on the same team.
Return to Radiance is a safe, luxurious healing sanctuary where you can step away from the habits, foods, and patterns that keep your body inflamed and your mind exhausted. Here, your system finally gets to exhale. You’ll be nourished, seen, and supported as you calm pain, reset your metabolism, and remember what it feels like to live in your body instead of fighting it.
You’ll go home not just “motivated,” but changed—with more energy, less inflammation, clearer skin, quieter cravings, and a simple plan to keep healing.
A metabolic healing game plan that fits your real life
Clear, doable steps to keep lowering inflammation at home: how to structure your meals, when to move, what to cut, what to keep. No perfection, no 47 rules—just a grounded plan you can actually follow.
Rewired beliefs about food, weight, and your body
After hypnosis and subconscious work, carbs/sugar stop feeling like “comfort” or “reward” and start looking like what they actually are: optional. With continued practice, the charge around food and the urge to binge keeps shrinking.
A ketovore roadmap for calm blood sugar & fewer cravings
Sample menus, a shopping list, and “this is what a normal day of eating looks like” so your blood sugar, mood, and energy stay more stable—without living in a food tracker.
A daily regulation ritual you can do in 5–10 minutes
Breath, meditation, or visualization practices designed to pull you out of spiral mode and back into your body—so you don’t need food to self-soothe every time stress hits.
Nervous-system tools for pain, panic, and spirals
Grounding techniques, nature-based practices, and simple energy work you can reach for when pain spikes, anxiety rises, or you feel like you’re “about to lose it.”
A kinder, more sacred relationship with your body
Instead of constantly attacking your reflection, you’ll have practices to speak to your body as a partner in healing. Food choices become an act of respect, not punishment.
Creative outlets that don’t end in the pantry
Art, journaling, and imagination journeys that give your nervous system somewhere else to go with emotion—so it doesn’t all end up stuffed down with sugar.
Real women you can message when you’re slipping
Sisterhood and support contacts from the retreat—women who know your story and your patterns, who you can text when the cravings or old habits start calling.
A new story about who you are
Not “the inflamed one,” “the big one,” or “the one who can’t control herself”—but a woman who is healing, radiant, capable, and in process. You’ll leave with words for that new identity and tools to keep stepping into her, day after day.

Panama Wellness Retreats is located in Panama, Central America (not Florida!)
Nestled in the lush crater of an ancient volcano, El Valle de Antón (Anton Valley) is one of Panama’s most magical hidden gems. Surrounded by misty mountains and cloud forests, this vibrant village feels like something out of a dream—where waterfalls tumble through emerald jungle, exotic birds soar overhead, and the air is crisp, clean, and alive with energy.
A true nature-lover’s paradise, El Valle is home to natural hot springs, healing mineral pools, vibrant farmers’ markets, and rare wildlife you won’t find anywhere else in the world. The landscape invites adventure and serenity alike—whether you’re hiking to the rim of a volcanic crater, bathing beneath a secret waterfall, or simply sipping tea while watching hummingbirds dance.
With its laid-back charm, cool mountain breeze, and soul-stirring beauty, El Valle de Antón is more than a destination—it’s a portal to peace, presence, and profound connection to nature. Perfect for those seeking healing, transformation, and a deep exhale from the busy world.
El Valle is about 2.5 hours drive from Panama City.
“I came in thinking this would just be another strict program I’d white-knuckle my way through. Instead of feeling like I was being punished or ‘on a diet,’ I started to actually want this new way of living. I love having real energy again, and for the first time in a long time… I genuinely like myself. I’m not dreading the future anymore—I’m looking forward to it.”
Tucked in the valley of El Valle de Antón, Caracoral Boutique Hotel & Spa is a quiet, nature-surrounded boutique property — private, elegant, and perfect for deep restorative work.
Suites open toward the gardens and mountains, with soft natural light and handcrafted details that reflect Panama’s warmth. Mornings are calm with birdsong and cool mountain air drifting through, and evenings invite real rest as the valley quiets and the sky softens into dusk.
On-site amenities include a spa, outdoor pool, and garden areas for meditation, journaling, or small-group sessions — so you don’t have to leave the property to drop in and heal. Between sessions, you can wander shaded pathways, sit by the water, or simply lie back and let your system exhale.
Cradled in the basin of an ancient volcano and surrounded by lush green, Caracoral feels held and contained — close enough to town for comfort, yet tucked away enough that the outside world feels far. It’s a setting designed to slow you down, help your nervous system regulate, and let the work of the retreat land fully in your body.
The hotel was magical with its hidden tropical gardens and peaceful setting. Just sitting out in the early morning and listening to the birds wake up while sipping a delicious coffee was paradise itself.

The ketovore approach isn’t a trendy diet — it’s a way to remove the very triggers that keep food cravings alive. Alcohol, sugar, and refined carbs hit the same reward pathways. When we take those out and replace them with nutrient-dense foods (meat, eggs, healthy fats), your blood sugar stabilizes and your nervous system calms. The “what can I eat” feeling loses intensity.
For women who’ve been stressed, undernourished, in pain, overweight, or drinking more than they want to, this way of eating helps refill what the body and brain need to feel steady: clarity, energy, and better mood regulation.
The result? You wake up clearer, cravings are quieter, and sobriety feels sustainable — not like constant willpower.
Each meal at the retreat feels like an act of devotion to your healing, shared in an open-air dining space nestled among tropical vegetation. You sit surrounded by palms and flowering plants, with birdsong drifting through the trees, hummingbirds flashing by, iguanas sunning themselves nearby, and the soft chorus of frogs rising as evening comes on. Mornings begin with the scent of sizzling bacon, farm-fresh eggs, and fluffy herb omelets cooked in butter — grounding, savory, and deeply satisfying. A small portion of ripe tropical fruit adds just enough sweetness to awaken your senses as you sip your coffee and watch the light move across the mountains.
Lunch brings its own kind of pleasure: crispy pork belly with crackling edges, a selection of creamy cheeses, and thick, full-fat yogurt that melts on the tongue — rich, primal nourishment that keeps your energy steady and your mood serene while you linger at the table, barefoot and unhurried, breathing in the warm, green air.
As the sun sets and the sky softens, dinner becomes a feast for your senses — perfectly seared steak, buttery fish, or plump prawns kissed by the grill, paired with fresh garden greens glistening with olive oil and sea salt. The sounds of evening birds and frog song wrap around you as you eat. A silky ketovore ice cream finishes the meal — a decadent, sugar-free indulgence that feels like pure reward. Throughout the day, you’ll have endless access to freshly brewed coffee, herbal teas, and chilled sparkling water — small, steady luxuries that make you feel cared for, nourished, and fully alive in the heart of nature.
I was concerned about eating mainly meat but in just a few days not only did my alcohol cravings subside, but my IBS and chronic indigestion completely went away!
Stop going to bed stuffed and waking up bloated, inflamed, and ashamed.
Rebalance blood sugar and hormones so the urge to binge on carbs and sugar naturally fades instead of demanding willpower 24/7.
Sleep more deeply, wake up clear-headed, and actually feel present in your body instead of dragging it around.
Rebuild self-trust — no more “I’ll start Monday” / “Why can’t I stop?” loops on repeat.
Stabilize blood sugar and dramatically reduce cravings for sugar, carbs, and constant snacking.
Lower inflammation and mood swings with real, nutrient-dense animal-based foods that your body recognizes and can actually use.
Replenish key nutrients often drained by stress, poor sleep, meds, and years of crash dieting.
Enjoy satisfying, fatty-protein meals that end the restrict–binge cycle and make “I’m actually full” a normal feeling again.
Waterfalls, mountain air, and deep stillness that signal safety to an overworked, overcaffeinated nervous system.
Gentle hikes and unhurried time outdoors that help you reconnect with your body as something you live in, not something you hide.
A peaceful volcanic valley setting where healing feels spacious, grounded, and holy—rather than like another tight, punishing program.

Being in nature gave me this profound sense of oneness to everything. I felt a peacefulness I haven’t felt in years. This truly is a gorgeous country!

My journey to healing has been anything but linear—and that’s exactly why I’m so passionate about guiding other women through their own transformation. I’ve battled alcohol for much of my adult life. I know the shame of relapse, the exhaustion of starting over, and the courage it takes to keep choosing yourself again and again. After years of searching for answers, my true turning point came from an unexpected place: the ketovore way of eating. What began as a simple nutritional experiment became a full-body awakening. When I removed sugar, carbs, and alcohol, I discovered clarity, emotional stability, and a deep sense of peace that no traditional program had ever given me. It genuinely felt like finding a magic potion for lifelong happiness and sobriety. As well as completely removing my cravings for alcohol, this diet also healed terribly painful bone spurs in my feet that I’d had for 35 years from teaching high impact aerobics in my 20’s, this happened in just 4 weeks! I’m steadily loosing some stubborn weight that I’ve been trying to get rid of for 12 years and my eyesight is improving! I am a believer! And I want to share this with anyone who is willing to listen. I consider this diet a “miracle”.
I was born in Southern Africa and spent 35 years in the United States before following my intuition to Panama. The lush landscapes, waterfalls, mountains, and slower pace of life reminded me of home in a way I hadn’t felt for decades. Here, in this volcanic valley surrounded by green, I found the perfect setting for profound healing. I truly believe Panama is a place where the nervous system finally exhales—where nature and nourishment work together to bring you back to yourself.
I bring a blend of science, soul, and hard-earned lived experience to my retreats. I’m a certified hypnotherapist and art teacher, and I’ve spent decades exploring holistic modalities—from energy healing and creative expression to nutritional therapy and spiritual psychology. I’m also the founder of FlowerChild CBD, a Washington-based company I’ve run since 2014, providing high-quality CBD products across the U.S. My background in natural healing, combined with my own recovery journey, is the foundation of Panama Wellness Retreats—a sanctuary where women can rediscover vitality, peace, and self-trust.
As a mother of two grown daughters who work alongside me, I try to embody the philosophy I teach: healing is a return to wholeness, not perfection. My mission is to show women that recovery doesn’t have to feel like punishment or deprivation—it can feel like coming home to yourself.

Who Is This For?
Our retreats are designed especially for women who feel curious about their relationship with alcohol — whether you drink daily, socially, or simply find yourself reaching for a glass more often than you’d like. This isn’t about labels or judgment, it’s about creating space to pause, reflect, and explore what alcohol really means in your life. Here, you’ll be supported by a nurturing community of women who “get it,” while engaging in practices that strengthen clarity, self-love, and resilience. Think of it as a chance to step away from old patterns, gain perspective, and reconnect with the version of yourself that feels most alive and free. Please reach out to us if you need clarification.
