A Transformational 10-Day Retreat Where You Will Come Away With:

Clear, steady mind – thoughts stop racing; you feel present, grounded, and at ease.

Cravings fade — ancestral, low-inflammation meals quiet the urge and stabilize mood.

A plan that fits your life — simple, real-world routines you can actually keep.

Shame loosens —you like the woman in the mirror again.

Future > past — genuine confidence that what’s ahead is bigger than drinking ever was.

Picture this…

You wake up in the soft stillness of the valley, the kind of quiet you forgot existed. The air is cool, green, alive. No hangover. No shame spiral. No reaching for coffee to patch over last night. Just you, in a sunlit room, in Panama, in a place you actually said yes to. You open the door and the jungle answers — birds calling, leaves moving, volcano walls wrapping the whole scene like a sanctuary. For the first time in a long time, your body isn’t the enemy. It just wants to heal.

You walk to breakfast and the table is already set — rich broth, eggs, local meats, food that actually nourishes instead of numbing. Nobody’s watching your plate, nobody’s judging your past. The women around you are like you — smart, successful, tired of pretending it’s “just a glass of wine.” There’s relief in the room. You don’t have to explain yourself. You don’t have to minimize it. Everyone already knows.

Later, you’re in circle. It’s intimate — 8, maybe 10 women — and the air is thick with honesty. You speak your story out loud, the real one, not the polished one. The time you hid the bottle. The nights you swore you were done. The prayer you whispered on the edge of your bed. And instead of being met with advice or judgment, you’re met with nods. Tears. “Me too.” Something unclenches in your chest. This is what it feels like to be understood.

In the afternoon you hike to a waterfall, and it feels symbolic — leaving behind the version of you that coped with alcohol and stepping into one who doesn’t need it. The water is cold and wild and you laugh like you haven’t in months. Your nervous system starts to believe you’re safe. That maybe life can be good without the drink. That joy isn’t gone — it was just buried.

That night, in ceremony, you sit in candlelight, guided into your own subconscious. You see the moment you decided alcohol was your friend. You see the belief you’re ready to trade in. You feel your angels, your God, your higher self — whatever name you use — reminding you you’re not broken, you were just soothing pain. And in that sacred little room in the jungle, you make a new agreement with yourself.

This is your sober retreat. Not rehab. Not punishment. A remembering. A return. A holy pause to get your life back.

From Stuck to Shining: What You’ll Gain

  • Feel ugly, inflamed, ashamed? → Look & feel confident again. Clean, craving-cutting meals + simple daily movement = brighter eyes, calmer skin, better sleep. Clothes fit, energy pops, people notice.

  • Stuck in self-loathing and regret? → End the self-attack loop. Compassionate coaching, sister-circle mirror work, and nightly release practices (gentle somatic unwind + brief forgiveness journaling) replace shame with self-respect—so you wake up steady and proud.

  • No peace. Constant mental chatter about drinking? → Calm the noise in your head. Short, repeatable practices (10-minute breathwork, guided meditation, nature immersion) quiet the “drink now” chatter. Sleep through the night. Wake up clear.

  • Alcohol is calling the shots? → You’re back in charge. A craving-kill protocol, an accountability partner, and a 90-day sober playbook you’ll actually use—so decisions feel clean, strong, and yours.

Our Promise

Our retreat is a safe, luxurious sanctuary where you can step away from old habits, nurture your body and spirit, and return home renewed—full of energy, confidence, and peace. This is where clarity begins, and lasting change takes root.

Come home to the woman you were before alcohol dimmed your light.

What You’ll Take Home

  • A sober game plan that fits your life – tools, scripts, and pattern interrupts to stop a craving in real time and keep the promise you made to yourself.
  • Rewired beliefs about alcohol – after hypnosis and subconscious work you’ll see alcohol as something you used to reach for, not something that runs you. With continued practice, the desire to drink keeps shrinking.
  • A ketovore roadmap for metabolic calm – simple meals, a shopping list, and “what to eat when you get home” so blood sugar and mood stay stable.
  • A daily spiritual/self-regulation ritual – breath, meditation, or visualization you can do in 5–10 minutes to get back into power.
  • Sisterhood & support contacts – women who were with you in Panama and who you can message when the urge hits.
  • A sacred, loving relationship with your body – seeing your body as a temple, not a problem to fix, so staying alcohol-free becomes an act of self-respect.
  • Your new story about who you are – a named identity (sober, radiant, trustworthy) so you stop looping the old one.
  • Nervous-system tools – grounding, nature-based regulation, and energy practices so you don’t have to drink to calm down.
  • Creative expression practices – art, journaling, and imagination journeys to process emotion without alcohol.
  • A deep, sustainable sense of peace – the experience of being sober and not restless, plus the exact ways to return to that state (breath, nature, prayer/imagination).

Our Magical Tropical Retreat Destination!

Panama Wellness Retreats is located in Panama, Central America (not Florida!)

Nestled in the lush crater of an ancient volcano, El Valle de Antón (Anton Valley) is one of Panama’s most magical hidden gems. Surrounded by misty mountains and cloud forests, this vibrant village feels like something out of a dream—where waterfalls tumble through emerald jungle, exotic birds soar overhead, and the air is crisp, clean, and alive with energy.

A true nature-lover’s paradise, El Valle is home to natural hot springs, healing mineral pools, vibrant farmers’ markets, and rare wildlife you won’t find anywhere else in the world. The landscape invites adventure and serenity alike—whether you’re hiking to the rim of a volcanic crater, bathing beneath a secret waterfall, or simply sipping tea while watching hummingbirds dance.

With its laid-back charm, cool mountain breeze, and soul-stirring beauty, El Valle de Antón is more than a destination—it’s a portal to peace, presence, and profound connection to nature. Perfect for those seeking healing, transformation, and a deep exhale from the busy world.

El Valle is about 2.5 hours drive from Panama City.

The meditation and hypnosis was profound for me. Instead of seeing sobriety as a punishment and a boring life without alcohol, I started to change my mindset to “I love being sober, I love the clarity, I love the energy, I love ME!” I am excited now for the future.

Our Venue

Tucked in the valley of El Valle de Antón, Caracoral Boutique Hotel & Spa is a quiet, nature-surrounded boutique property — private, elegant, and perfect for deep restorative work.

Each person gets their own bedroom with private bathroom. Suites open toward the gardens and mountains, with soft natural light and handcrafted details that reflect Panama’s warmth. Mornings are calm with birdsong and cool mountain air drifting through, and evenings invite real rest as the valley quiets and the sky softens into dusk.

On-site amenities include a spa, outdoor pool, and garden areas for meditation, journaling, or small-group sessions — so you don’t have to leave the property to drop in and heal. Between sessions, you can wander shaded pathways, sit by the water, or simply lie back and let your system exhale.

Cradled in the basin of an ancient volcano and surrounded by lush green, Caracoral feels held and contained — close enough to town for comfort, yet tucked away enough that the outside world feels far. It’s a setting designed to slow you down, help your nervous system regulate, and let the work of the retreat land fully in your body.

The hotel was magical with its hidden tropical gardens and peaceful setting. Just sitting out in the early morning and listening to the birds wake up while sipping a delicious coffee was paradise itself.

Why Ketovore Nutrition Works

The ketovore approach isn’t a trendy diet — it’s a way to remove the very triggers that keep alcohol cravings alive. Alcohol, sugar, and refined carbs hit the same reward pathways. When we take those out and replace them with nutrient-dense foods (meat, eggs, healthy fats), your blood sugar stabilizes and your nervous system calms. The “I need a drink” feeling loses intensity.

For women who’ve been stressed, undernourished, or drinking more than they want to, this way of eating helps refill what the body and brain need to feel steady: clarity, energy, and better mood regulation.

The result? You wake up clearer, cravings are quieter, and sobriety feels sustainable — not like constant willpower.

Each meal at the retreat feels like an act of devotion to your healing, shared in an open-air dining space nestled among tropical vegetation. You sit surrounded by palms and flowering plants, with birdsong drifting through the trees, hummingbirds flashing by, iguanas sunning themselves nearby, and the soft chorus of frogs rising as evening comes on. Mornings begin with the scent of sizzling bacon, farm-fresh eggs, and fluffy herb omelets cooked in butter — grounding, savory, and deeply satisfying. A small portion of ripe tropical fruit adds just enough sweetness to awaken your senses as you sip your coffee and watch the light move across the mountains.

Lunch brings its own kind of pleasure: crispy pork belly with crackling edges, a selection of creamy cheeses, and thick, full-fat yogurt that melts on the tongue — rich, primal nourishment that keeps your energy steady and your mood serene while you linger at the table, barefoot and unhurried, breathing in the warm, green air.

As the sun sets and the sky softens, dinner becomes a feast for your senses — perfectly seared steak, buttery fish, or plump prawns kissed by the grill, paired with fresh garden greens glistening with olive oil and sea salt. The sounds of evening birds and frog song wrap around you as you eat. A silky ketovore ice cream finishes the meal — a decadent, sugar-free indulgence that feels like pure reward. Throughout the day, you’ll have endless access to freshly brewed coffee, herbal teas, and chilled sparkling water — small, steady luxuries that make you feel cared for, nourished, and fully alive in the heart of nature.

I was concerned about eating mainly meat but in just a few days not only did my alcohol cravings subside, but my IBS and chronic indigestion completely went away!

A Word From Kelly

My journey to healing has been anything but linear—and that’s exactly why I’m so passionate about guiding other women through their own transformation. I’ve battled alcohol for much of my adult life. I know the shame of relapse, the exhaustion of starting over, and the courage it takes to keep choosing yourself again and again. After years of searching for answers, my true turning point came from an unexpected place: the ketovore way of eating. What began as a simple nutritional experiment became a full-body awakening. When I removed sugar, carbs, and alcohol, I discovered clarity, emotional stability, and a deep sense of peace that no traditional program had ever given me. It genuinely felt like finding a magic potion for lifelong happiness and sobriety.

I was born in Southern Africa and spent 35 years in the United States before following my intuition to Panama. The lush landscapes, waterfalls, mountains, and slower pace of life reminded me of home in a way I hadn’t felt for decades. Here, in this volcanic valley surrounded by green, I found the perfect setting for profound healing. I truly believe Panama is a place where the nervous system finally exhales—where nature and nourishment work together to bring you back to yourself.

I bring a blend of science, soul, and hard-earned lived experience to my retreats. I’m a certified hypnotherapist and art teacher, and I’ve spent decades exploring holistic modalities—from energy healing and creative expression to nutritional therapy and spiritual psychology. I’m also the founder of FlowerChild CBD, a Washington-based company I’ve run since 2014, providing high-quality CBD products across the U.S. My background in natural healing, combined with my own recovery journey, is the foundation of Panama Wellness Retreats—a sanctuary where women can rediscover vitality, peace, and self-trust.

As a mother of two grown daughters who work alongside me, I try to embody the philosophy I teach: healing is a return to wholeness, not perfection. My mission is to show women that recovery doesn’t have to feel like punishment or deprivation—it can feel like coming home to yourself.

How do I know this is right for me?

Who Is This For?
Our retreats are designed especially for women who feel curious about their relationship with alcohol — whether you drink daily, socially, or simply find yourself reaching for a glass more often than you’d like. This isn’t about labels or judgment, it’s about creating space to pause, reflect, and explore what alcohol really means in your life. Here, you’ll be supported by a nurturing community of women who “get it,” while engaging in practices that strengthen clarity, self-love, and resilience. Think of it as a chance to step away from old patterns, gain perspective, and reconnect with the version of yourself that feels most alive and free. Please reach out to us if you need clarification.

Who is this NOT for?

If you have a serious drinking problem that requires a medical detox or if you feel you can’t abstain from drinking for 10 days then this retreat is not for you. Each person will have their own private room and bathroom.

Is it safe to travel to Panama?

Yes, Panama is a very safe, clean country with very friendly and happy Spanish speaking people.

What is a "ketovore" diet anyway?

The ketovore diet is a low-carb, high-fat, animal-based way of eating that combines the fat-burning benefits of keto with the nutrient density and simplicity of carnivore nutrition for optimal energy, clarity, and balance.

Is Panama safe for solo female travelers?

Yes, very safe.

Can you accommodate dietary needs?

This retreat focuses on a ketovore diet which consists mainly of meat and fish, eggs, dairy and very small portions of vegetables and fruit.

Are there any health or mobility requirements?

The area is not handicap friendly. You will need to be able to walk and do stairs. We do go on some gentle hikes and perform yoga so mobility is necessary.

The price is $4997 USD. We do offer payment plans but the balance of the payment needs to be settled in full before the retreat start date. You can find more information on the Register page.

Yes, there will be Wifi available at the hotel, although we encourage people to try to do a semi digital detox if possible.

This time is for you. During the 10 day retreat we encourage everyone to take this time to focus on themselves and not worry about kids or spouses/partners. So the answer to that would be no – sorry!

What airport do I fly into in Panama City?

Tocumen International Airport – PTY

Do you provide transport to and from the airport?

Yes, our driver will collect you at the airport terminal and transport you to El Valle. When booking your flight please plan on arriving in Panama before 3pm. The following Saturday afternoon you will leave El Valle at 3pm and be transported back to Panama City Crowne Plaza Airport Hotel where you will spend the night.

How far is the retreat venue from Panama City?

The retreat venue is located in El Valle de Anton or Anton Valley and is about 2.5 hours drive from Panama City, depending on traffic. During high traffic and rush hour it can take significantly longer.

Why do we have to spend the night in Panama City on the return?

We want to make sure you do not miss your flight on Sunday. Between traffic and accidents on the highway you could potentially sit for hours and therefore miss your flight. Not good. The hotel at the airport is a first class hotel and a nice treat before you fly out the next day.

Who pays for the hotel room in Panama City?

The Retreat will be paying for your last night in Panama City. We take care of the reservations.

What clothes should I bring?

Jeans, comfortable long pants (trousers), shorts, summer dress, swim suit, shirts, light jacket or sweater, flip flops/water shoes, tennis/walking shoes, hat, PJ’s

The weather is lovely. Around 83 F (28 C) during the day give or take a few degrees and in the mid 60’s (18-20 C) at night. We advise you to bring a light sweater and warm pants just in case you get a bit chilly.
